INSPECTION PROGRAM


  • Maintain monthly work log with hours and detailed descriptions of each project monitored

  • Attend all pre-construction meetings

  • Once folders are received, conduct a pre examination to include
    • Assessment of riser integrity
    • Assessment of casting integrity
    • Examination of all sanitary manhole components
    • Measurement and mark up of all curb boxes
    • Measurement and mark up of all castings
    • If water service kills are needed, define what addresses they will be and communicate with the Project manager to have them killed (upon approval, coordinate with vac trucks to locate and schedule kills prior to construction)

  • Once pre-examination is complete document all of the following
    • Pre-construction pictures taken by service coordinator
    • Create spreadsheet defining all castings found on project with measurements off centerline, addresses, description of utilities and corresponding picture numbers.
    • Create spreadsheet defining what assets need riser work done prior to construction
    • Create separate spreadsheet defining all curb boxes found on project with measurements, addresses, description of utility and corresponding picture number.
    • If water service kills are needed, create spreadsheet defining the addresses and measurements of kills that the Project manager approved to be killed.

  • During construction Service Coordinators are responsible to
    • Monitor project activity
    • Attend all coordination meetings throughout the duration of the project
    • Communicate with the Project Manager concerning any utilities needing immediate attention
    • Maintain communication with RPR regarding scheduling and project progression

  • Once major construction has been completed
    • Examine and mark up all utilities that need adjustments or replacement
    • Document necessary adjustments and replacements with an excel spreadsheet defining the type of castings, addresses, description of work to be completed, asset numbers if necessary and corresponding picture numbers.
    • Coordinate with valve and manhole crews to complete the work.

  • Once adjustments and replacements are completed
    • Conduct a post examination of entire project
    • If all work has been completed, close folder and return to the Project Manager
